Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about our Washington State MLS service

How can an Oregon company list my Washington home?

We partner with a licensed Washington State broker who enters your listing into RMLS. Realty Net handles intake, support, and customer service while ensuring full compliance with Washington regulations.

What MLS will my property be listed on?

Your property will be listed on RMLS (Regional Multiple Listing Service), which covers both the Portland metro area and Southwest Washington. This gives you exposure to agents on both sides of the Columbia River.

Which Washington counties do you serve?

We serve Southwest Washington counties covered by RMLS: Clark County (Vancouver, Camas, Battle Ground), Cowlitz County (Longview, Kelso), Skamania County, and Wahkiakum County.

Do I need to offer a buyer agent commission?

You decide what commission to offer buyer agents. Typical offers range from 2-3%. Offering a competitive commission helps attract agents to show your home, but the amount is entirely your choice.

Will my listing appear on Zillow and Realtor.com?

Yes! Your RMLS listing automatically syndicates to Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin, Homes.com, and dozens of other real estate websites, giving you the same exposure as any traditionally-listed property.

How long does it take to get listed?

Once we receive your completed information and photos, listings typically go live on RMLS within 1-2 business days. Syndication to third-party sites like Zillow may take an additional 24-48 hours.

What if I need help with my transaction?

We offer optional add-on services including transaction management, consulting, and coaching. These can help you through negotiations, paperwork, and closing if you want professional guidance.

Are Washington disclosure requirements different?

Yes, Washington has its own seller disclosure forms and requirements. As the seller, you're responsible for completing Washington State disclosure documents. We can provide guidance on what's needed.
